Getting started.

- Introductory Consultation -

Your first visit will be dedicated to outlining the general direction of your project, after which we will arrive at an estimate for a design fee. Please be sure to bring all relevant materials and reference images along with you to this appointment.

- Curatorial Consultation -

Following your introductory consultation we will delve deeper into the specifics of your unique design and layout. Simple conceptual renderings will then be produced in order to further capture your project's potential.

FAQs

  • Please allow 4-6 weeks for production on gallery wall projects as some of the materials required may need to be sourced via special order.

    Friends of Winter currently does not offer a delivery service, however, we can release finished projects to you, your designer, or any authorised third party via appointment.

  • Our custom framers will provide you with the hanging hardware and layout instructions best suited for easy at-home installation.

    Reaching out to a professional art services installer is also a great idea!

  • Yes!

    We would love to meet your interior designer and collaborate with them to bring your vision to life. You can invite them along to your introductory consultation or simply ask them to forward their layout plans to us via email if you like.

    We are also happy to waive our usual design fee if your interior designer is able to generate a suitable plan for your designated space.

  • Yes!

    We can provide you with custom-sized mirrors to add to your curated wall space.

  • While we offer a variety of custom printing options, it is important that we have the permissions required in order to legally print the images you provide us with. In some rare cases, we may request that you provide us with a written “permission to print” notice signed and dated by the original creator of the work and/or the current holder of all rights associated with that work.

    Individual photographers will usually outline their own specific reproduction and print release terms as part of a broader photography contract or service agreement. If in doubt, please be sure to ask them directly!
